The Peoria Notre Dame Irish were one of seven Big 12 teams to qualify for the IHSA playoffs last season.
Now, they’re looking to reach the mountaintop in one of the toughest conferences in Central Illinois in 2024.
“You just have to come every day, every game,” head coach Pat Armstrong said. “Each week is the entire season so you have to play week-by-week. I know it's kind of a coach's cliché that you play one game at a time [but] that's the truth for us…you can never look ahead in this conference.”
