Last year’s Peoria Heights team made history. The Patriots broke the school record for wins in a season with 26, and won the school’s first regional championship since their 1991-92 season.
This year’s Patriots team will look different as former assistant coach Derek Scott takes over for Chris Reese. Scott will have to navigate an uber-young roster this season after the majority of last season’s production left via graduation. It will be a season full of growing pains, but with that comes a season full of potential and a program that now knows how to win at a high level.
