A season ago, Washington won its third regional championship in a row and finished second in the Mid-Illini with another 20-win season.
The Panthers have their sights set deep into March as they will return 12 players who had varsity experience last year, including their class of nine juniors who are all veterans by this point. With this abundance of experience on the 2024 roster, the Panthers see the Mid-Illini title as theirs for the taking.
