The first AP statewide rankings of the IHSA football season were released ahead of Week 3 and Central Illinois was well-represented in votes but only five teams cracked the top 10.

Bloomington Central Catholic earned the highest ranking of the bunch by coming at the No. 2 slot in Class 2A with Farmington right behind them.

Twelve teams from the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area received votes, but did not crack the top 10 in their class. Notably, East Peoria, a team that has historically struggled over the last decade, was one of those teams.

Check out the full rankings for classes 1A-8A below, with first place votes in parentheses along with each team's record.
