Bloomington Central Catholic comes up two points short in Class 2A State Championship

NORMAL, IL – After defeating Elmhurst Timothy Christian on Friday, Bloomington Central Catholic returned to CEFCU Arena Saturday afternoon to take on Breese Mater Dei for the IHSA Class 2A state title.

After BCC won the first set 25-19 and Mater Dei prevailed 25-20 in the second set, it all came down to the third and final frame, which was tightly contested the entire way, with seven ties and five lead changes.
