BLOOMINGTON – It’s all starting to come together for Bloomington girls basketball.
The Purple Raiders aren’t used to being in the top spot of the Big 12. Their last regional title came in 2009 and the program’s last 20-win season came before Y2K.
But the top spot is exactly where Bloomington (13-6, 6-0 Big 12) is right now and the team believes that the time spent toiling in the off-season has paid off.
“We’ve been putting in the work this summer and it shows,” senior Christina Lenard said.
