Sectional title games bring a special type of allure, thanks to crowded gyms, area-on-area matchups and the historic nature of victories. Six squads from Central Illinois are still in the running to advance to Monday’s super-sectional games.
Friday’s sectional games feature an exciting slate, pitting local teams against each other in Class 1A and 3A while Big 12 powers Manual and Normal Community look to win crowns in Class 2A and 4A, respectively.
