The final regular season CSM Power Rankings of the football season are here, with things a bit more shaken up after an intriguing Week 8 of action.
13 area teams have officially clinched their playoff bids with six or more wins: Farmington, Normal Community, Peoria High, Princeville, Elmwood/Brimfield, Tri-Valley, Eureka, Washington, Metamora, Pekin, Normal West, Bloomington and Normal U-High.
Four more – Dunlap, Olympia, El Paso-Gridley and Bloomington Central Catholic – have not officially secured a playoff spot at 5-3, but look to be in a good position to do so. Morton, Dee-Mack and Peoria Notre Dame’s playoff hopes will come down to Week 9 as all three teams enter at 4-4.
