The teams in the top spots of Clutch Sports Media girls power rankings haven’t changed much this season. However, the pack is tightly-bunched below them with thin margins separating each team.

It’s easy to see why the races are so competitive, as 23 of the 34 girls basketball teams in the CSM coverage area have a winning percentage of .500 or better at the time of publication. This week’s rankings feature two teams that moved up from No. 4 spots last week and a new Mid-Illini team cracking the top five in the large school rankings.

Teams from the Mid-Illini and Big 12 make up the large school rankings while every other area school falls into the small school category. Teams receiving consideration are listed as well.
