CSM Softball Power Rankings, April 14, 2025: Dunlap flies to No. 1, Canton and Tri-Valley enter after big weeks

If the early part of the 2025 IHSA softball season is any indicator, longtime juggernauts in Central Illinois may have their hands full fending off multiple hungry teams.
Dunlap and Washington are both off to hot starts and are providing traditional conference powers Metamora and East Peoria with plenty of competition. Illini Bluffs fended off Inter-County Conference foe Brimfield/Elmwood to hang on to their top spot, but fell to a Canton squad that is carrying a heap of momentum.
This week’s CSM Softball Power Rankings feature a Mid-Illini sweep in the large school rankings and a variety of conference representation in the small school rankings. Check out how the top teams in Central Illinois stack up below:
