Softball season is well underway after two weeks as non-conference games offer opportunities for growth, momentum and confidence-boosting wins.
The Mid-Illini Conference is once again loaded with teams that will ensure that a conference title won’t come easy, as half of the group entered the top five in the first CSM Softball Power Rankings of the season. Strength is more spread out in the small school rankings, where four conferences are represented.
Check out the first CSM Power Rankings of the season below, with schools from the Mid-Illini and Big 12 falling into the large school rankings and every other area team falling into the small school rankings.
