PEORIA - Tuesday’s Class 2A Manual Regional semifinals included two big matchups including a home game for the Rams themselves, who were looking to reach the precious 20-win mark.

The No. 6-seeded Rams weren’t the favorites on paper against No. 4 seed Eureka. But after defeating Olympia on Saturday, Manual came in with plenty of confidence and prevailed 58-53 to clinch a regional title berth.

“We’re playing hard, making history, and just trying to keep winning,” Manual’s Breyasia Grayson said. “It feels good cause we’re playing in our home gym and we got all our fans here to support us.”
