The sheriff of Washington’s offense has a new sidekick in town, but the two aren’t new to each other. Far from it, in fact.
The Panthers graduated a storied senior class of over two dozen a year ago, as well as their head coach, who “graduated” to retirement. Exodus was temporarily a theme for Washington football but over 20 new seniors help fill the gap, plus a key junior wide receiver in Adrian “AJ” Jones.
Jones began his high school career with Washington before transferring to Bolingbrook in suburban Chicago for his sophomore year. Now, he’s back with the Panthers and reunited with one of his best friends throwing him the football in senior quarterback Tyler Humphrey.
