Irish prove to be too much for Sherrard, end decade-long regional drought

Peoria Notre Dame Irish girls basketball had the opportunity to do something they have not done since 2014.

And with a matchup against the Sherrard Tigers on Friday night for a right to move on to sectionals, the Irish didn’t miss their opportunity to win the Class 2A IVC Regional title.
