Limestone girls soccer reaping what its sown in chase of program record

BARTONVILLE – His name is Rob Fitch and he turns soccer programs around.


Six months ago, he made Limestone’s boys team competitive again as the Rockets’ 15 wins were the most since 1993. 


After starting its campaign with six straight victories, Limestone’s girls team is now also on pace for a record-setting season under Fitch.


“It's been pretty cool especially to start out our senior season 6-0, there's not many Limestone teams that can say they've come out and done that,” senior defender Ella Karmenzind said. “Not many Mid-Illini teams can say they've come out and done that.”
