Normal Community gets revenge on Rocks to set up sectional title rematch

PEKIN - Normal Community boys basketball knew what they had to do to win against Rock Island in the 4A Boys Sectional Semifinal. 

“We need to hold (Rock Island) to under 50 points,” junior Guard Trey Birditt said, after their regional title win against Minooka on Feb. 28.

Four days later, the Ironmen did just that.
