NORMAL, IL – Normal West volleyball is 7-0 to start their 2024 campaign, and the Wildcats aren’t just beating up on bad teams.

They’ve already notched wins against Lyons Township, Morton, and Loyola Academy, who have a combined 15-2 record outside of their matchups with Normal West.

The Wildcats journeyed up to Chicagoland on Sept. 6 and showed some of the most talented teams in the state what central Illinois has to offer, notching wins over Loyola Academy, Lombard Montini and LaGrange (Lyons).

“I think it’s really fun to play [Loyola Academy] earlier in the season to see how we can grow in that game and take it into the rest of the season,” junior outside hitter Olivia Ziemer said ahead of the trip to Lyons.
