Peoria Notre Dame’s boys basketball battles back to full strength and regional title victory

Peoria Notre Dame had to scratch and claw their way through a regular season that brought some adversity their way. The Irish had to do the same in their regional title game against No. 2 seed El Paso-Gridley on Friday, and were rewarded with a regional plaque in a 47-30 win.


PND head Coach Tom Lacher shed a couple tears after the win. After all that the Irish had been through, they had finally reached a peak and got to do so in front of their home crowd at The Kitchen.
