BRIMFIELD, IL – The electric atmosphere in the gym of Brimfield High School set the stage for an intense showdown between Illini Bluffs and Princeville in the Class 1A Brimfield Sectional semifinal.

There, the Princes showed that revenge is a dish best served hot. After falling to the Tigers 57-35 earlier in the season, Princeville turned the tables and used a strong defensive outing in a 56-41 win that secures it a spot in Friday’s sectional title game.

The win brings Princeville one more away from tying the school record for wins in a season and earning its first sectional crown since 1985.
