DUNLAP — Pekin and Dunlap met for their Mid-Illini Conference opener on Friday and the game did not disappoint.
Following back-to-back 40-point wins, Dunlap came in with plenty of momentum. But the Dragons, who had won and lost a game by a close margin each time, proved that their grittiness and experience in close games was enough to take down the Eagles in a thrilling 34-33 finish.
