The Roundup, April 11 2025: Bloomington’s Vetter is perfect, East Peoria, Tremont, Tri-Valley win in baseball and softball

Perfection as a pitcher is almost always elusive but it wasn’t for Bloomington softball’s Reilly Vetter, who threw a perfect game to continue her big season on Friday. 

Other highlights from the day included conference wins from Normal West and several Heart of Illinois Conference teams in baseball, plus several tightly contested games in softball. Canton softball extended its win streak to eight. Richwoods and Morton girls soccer and Normal U-High and Dunlap girls track and field were also among Friday’s best team performers.
