A day after there were four walk-off victories combined between baseball and softball, Wednesday delivered an unbelievable seven games that featured walk-off wins.

Three of those winning teams — Morton, East Peoria and Dunlap — came from Mid-Illini baseball, while Richwoods, Eureka and Olympia all won on the game’s last at-bat too. Eureka made it 2-for-2 in walk-offs as its softball team beat Lexington/Ridgeview.

Normal West baseball coach Chris Hawkins won his 600th game, Normal U-High girls soccer ended a 20-year long Intercity drought, and Metamora softball won a state-ranked battle among other highlights.
