The power ball was seen across Central Illinois as many team’s racked up the extra-base hits in their games. None was bigger than East Peoria baseball’s Auggie Lohnes, who hit a walk-off home run to beat Dunlap in a critical Mid-Illini showdown. Dee-Mack baseball and Richwoods baseball each claimed victories via walk-off winners as well.

Softball was no different, as East Peoria, Dee-Mack and Tremont had great offensive evenings. All three teams combined impactful offense with stout defense and pitching to win their respective games convincingly. Washington faced Bloomington-Normal in boys and girls lacrosse while several small schools hit the track for meets.
