The Roundup, April 24, 2025: Chapman wins No. 400 with Iron girls soccer, Meinders and IB duo throw no-hitters

Normal Community girls soccer head coach Matt Chapman joined elite company on Thursday, winning the 400th game in his career coaching the Iron girls team. Brimfield/Elmwood’s Schyer Meinders threw a no-hitter in softball, as did Illini Bluffs’ tandem of Annabelle Reimer and Cora Ellison.

Metamora, Dunlap, Pekin and Washington won conference games in Mid-Illini softball and Bloomington, Farmington, Olympia, Brimfield/Elmwood and Dunlap all won in baseball and softball. Soccer, girls lacrosse and track and field all featured several highlights.
