After two and a half months, official competition returned to the IHSA on Thursday with boys and girls golf teams from around the area hitting the links.
Boys teams from Eureka and Roanoke-Benson had encouraging starts to the season, as did Pekin’s girls golf. Washington’s Gavin Schreurs loudly announced his return to the course with a sizzling round as well.
