Metamora girls picked up their first conference win of the season at Pekin in a tightly contested battle. Fieldcrest girls also gathered a solid road conference win over Fisher behind a massive performance from Macy Gochanour. Dee-Mack girls dominated in usual fashion in the opening game of the Riverton Christmas Classic.
There was not much action for the boys side of Central Illinois basketball, but East Peoria went on the road to Jacksonville to collect another dub in the win column. Heyworth also competed in the Decatur St. Teresa Christmas Tournament against Decatur Unity Christian.
