An action-packed Tuesday of hoops action in Central Illinois featured lots at stake, including conference titles and regional championship berths.
Six area girls squads, including three from the Mid-Illini, won their regional semifinal games and seasons came to an end for Limestone, Richwoods, Normal West and more.
Metamora (Mid-Illini), Tri-Valley (Heart of Illinois) and Brimfield (Prairieland North) all secured conference titles with wins and several MIC schools, including the Redbirds, had to survive strong upset attempts.
