The Roundup, Feb. 24, 2025: Regional quarterfinal action begins playoff journey for local boy’s teams

Many boys basketball teams began their playoff roads on Monday evening in the regional quarterfinal round. Limestone and Washington battled in a Mid-Illini Conference postseason matchup. Bloomington Central Catholic took on Eureka, Peoria Notre Dame faced Olympia, and Normal U-High battled against IVC in games that featured two area teams.

Every area Class 1A team was victorious in their playoff openers while Dee-Mack and Bloomington suffered season-ending losses.
