There was plenty of pulse-pounding hoops in Central Illinois on Friday night with several close games, comeback victories and great individual and team performances.
On the boys side, Peoria High took down rival Manual in a game that was close throughout and Bloomington Central Catholic picked up a notable win in overtime on the road. Tri-Valley and Elmwood also survived close contests.
Mid-Illini girls played their second to last conference games with Dunlap’s win over Morton turning heads and setting up a huge game between the Potters and Washington on Tuesday.
