Central Illinois was treated to some nonstop entertainment on Saturday with multiple overtime thrillers and stellar conference matchups.
The Mid-Illini was full of big games when it came to boys basketball, with Washington and East Peoria pulling off great performances en route to victory. Peoria High girls basketball finished the night with its first victory of the season, while Manual, Richwoods, and PND dominated in their Big 12 games.
Dozens of wrestlers from around the area punched their tickets to sectionals as Olympia, Canton and Washington all won team titles. The Mid-Illini and Big 12 held their conference meets in boys swimming and diving as well.
