Central Illinois hoops were in tip-top shape on Friday night with multiple big games, close contests and big performances.
Peoria High and Richwoods squared off in a Big 12 rivalry while Mid-Illini rivals Morton and Washington duked it out as well. Metamora and East Peoria both survived upset scares while Tremont and Peoria Notre Dame also picked up key victories.
Matthew Zobrist, Quinton Kitt and Leshawn Stowers each had big games and Princeville’s Tucker Sennett reached a career milestone.
