With schools on spring break, several area baseball teams took advantage of the great weather and competition down in the south.
Still, there were plenty of other action happening in the much colder state of Illinois with softball, girls soccer, and boys and girls track and field as Dunlap, Limestone and Farmington were some of the notable winners in baseball while PND and Bloomington both took down area foes in softball.
