Illini Bluffs softball reached its fifth straight Class 1A state title game with a shutout win in the state semifinals on Friday, behind a great two-way performance from Cora Ellison. Peoria Notre Dame girls soccer was the victim of a heartbreaking late loss in its state semifinal and Metamora softball lost in the Washington Sectional title game in a similarly close fashion.
