Golf took center stage on Monday with multiple larger tournaments being held as Normal U-High’s Brody Allen went low to lead the Pioneers to a win in Ottawa and Morton’s Anja Ruxlow led the Potters’ girls golfers to a win in Pontiac.
The Prairieland Conference held its conference tournaments with Elmwood’s Addisyn Powers taking home the individual championship on the girls side. Crew Fortin of Illini Bluffs finished likewise in the boys' Tomahawk Conference Tournament. Other Monday action included three wins for area boys soccer teams and four three-set matches in volleyball
