Friday night lights did not disappoint with a handful of close games and just as many not-so-close games. The night’s most intriguing action came in the Mid-Illini, where Metamora, Washington and East Peoria all won. Bloomington won a key game over Normal West and more than a handful area teams reached the doorstep of playoff qualification.
