Many athletes and teams in Central Illinois had to bring their best to beat the best and did so on Thursday, which featured the Mid-Illini Conference Tournaments in golf and a few marquee soccer games.
Metamora was a winner in both volleyball and soccer and East Peoria volleyball’s Gabby Lane reached a career milestone. Bloomington girls tennis and BCC girls swim and dive also were victorious.
