BRIMFIELD - After 21 years, Peoria Christian can once again call itself a sectional champion.
The Chargers used a comeback effort in the second half to take down Princeville 57-54 in the Class 1A Brimfield Sectional final in front of a packed house.
“It’s incredible,” Peoria Christian head coach Jason Persinger said. “It’s only the second time in school history. It just means everything. This is what high school basketball’s about, and I’m really grateful for it.”
