Good things come to those who wait, and they certainly have for Washington senior running back Hunter Reed.
The starting running back position at Washington has been a coveted spot and is typically filled by a player who works hard, learns from veterans and understands the program. With the Panthers having a recent string of strong ballcarries, it’s now Reed’s turn in line.
“This year coming into it, I know that last year I had put a lot of hard work in so it's really special to finally get that starting spot,” Reed said.
